This month we are prepping for our kids to head back to school. I can’t help but think of all the stuff we didn’t do this summer. So….. I pulled out our list of go to activities (see here) and selected a few we have not gotten a chance to enjoy this summer. We will be sure to do a few more before they head back to school on August 10th. We’ve been so busy trying new things that we have abandoned some of our favorite go to places.
Our downtown riverfront and Arch grounds area has been undergoing a major rehaul the past few years. It is now completed enough for you to visit. We are anxious to see the new renovations. The Gateway Arch is a popular monument in our city and although the kids have been on the Arch grounds, they have never taken the ride to the top. This is one we will try to plan for this month.
Before we get into our list of other activities happening this month, we would like to remind you that tax free weekend in St. Louis is August 7th – August 9th. Tax free weekend gives shoppers the opportunity to purchase back to school items without paying state sales tax.
